This piece is ebonized Oak from Lunenburg County Nova Scotia with inlaid Pine growth ring sections from branches blown down in the Halifax Public Gardens by Hurrican Dorian September 7, 2019.

The Category 2 Hurricane moved into Atlantic Canada with wind gusts up to 141 km/hr.
